What tools you will need to start baking?

How much do you will need for a baking side hustle?
The biggest investment required in baking is the oven and the baking lessons. Home ovens can go for as low as Ush 350,000 to as high as Ush 4,000,000. I recommend that you join the Gyendi Cocoa Chocolate and Baking Class, a Facebook group to receive recommendations from other bakers to make an informed decision.
The next investment you shall make is learning how to bake. The recipes and methods shared by Gyendi Cocoa have been tried and tested with Ugandan ingredients and will therefore make very tasty cakes. Before you begin selling you cakes to clients, I recommend you try out your recipes at least 3 times to ensure that your cake is edible and tasty. This also teaches you how your oven behaves with different cakes.
Once the initial investment is made, the cost of making a cake lowers that it becomes possible to make back all the money you put in for each cake. Assuming you already have an oven, you shall need approximately Ush 95,000 to start a small baking side hustle at home.
